شب بازی هفتگی مکس و آنی زمانی که برادر مکس، بروکس، یک مهمانی معمای قتل ترتیب می‌دهد، حسابی هیجان‌انگیز می‌شود - مهمانی‌ای که در آن اراذل و اوباش قلابی و مأموران فدرال حضور دارند. بنابراین وقتی بروکس ربوده می‌شود، قرار است همه چیز بخشی از بازی باشد. همانطور که رقبا برای حل پرونده شروع به کار می‌کنند، متوجه می‌شوند که نه بازی و نه بروکس آن چیزی نیستند که به نظر می‌رسند. این دوستان خیلی زود خود را در موقعیتی می‌بینند که هر پیچش داستانی منجر به یک تغییر غیرمنتظره دیگر در طول یک شب پر هرج و مرج می‌شود.

Synopsis (English)

Max and Annie's weekly game night gets kicked up a notch when Max's brother Brooks arranges a murder mystery party -- complete with fake thugs and federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it's all supposed to be part of the game. As the competitors set out to solve the case, they start to learn that neither the game nor Brooks are what they seem to be. The friends soon find themselves in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn over the course of one chaotic night.
